Kai Kaholokai
 (Kai Ke-ali’i-ke-a’e-hale O Kaholokai) serves as a cultural advisor for HIP Ag. Kai is founder of the Kai Malino Wellness Center, and is a Native Hawaiian cultural practitioner, Kumu La'au Lapa'au (teacher of Hawaiian herbalism), Kumu Lomi Lomi (teacher of hawaiian massage). Kai Kaholokai holds a BA in Sociology and Anthropology with a minor in history. Kai Kaholokai has been propagating and gathering indigenous Hawaiian plants, farming taro, and studying archeology in North Kohala
 district since 1973.

Donna Maltz is a Soil to Soul entrepreneur, farm to table restaurant owner, wellness and business consultant. As an environmental activist, she is passionate about doing her part in contributing to a peaceful thriving world for people and the planet. Donna also teaches culinary classes and mentors budding entrepreneurs. She is the author of a childrens book, and will soon publish her next book, “Soil to Soul Entrepreneurship: True Prosperity". Maltz graduated from the Organic Farm Program at Evergreen State College in 1982. She has over 33 years of experience in socially and ecologically responsible business entrepreneurship, including going national with the first organic cocoa and chocolate syrup in the nation. She serves as a business advisor for HIP Ag.






Dennis Sharmahd serves as HIP Ag's lead botanical advisor. Sharmahd is an herbalist and ethnobotanist specializing in subtropical plants. He is the founder of Southern Sun Seeds and has been teaching about wild edible & medicinal plants for almost 30 years.

Vanessa Stone serves as a teacher, humanitarian, alchemist, artist, leader for peace and Founder of the Amala Foundation, a non-profit organization working to create sustainable peace within and without. Vanessa has devoted her life to humanitarian service and sharing her message of essential unity and engaged spirituality. She teaches that “your Life is the spiritual path,” and inspires individuals and communities to unite in peace and loving service. Vanessa has deeply touched the lives of many through her direct guidance, compassionate listening and unwavering devotion. She shares her message through private sessions, public sittings, silent retreats, residential immersions, and international service missions. She serves on HIP Ag's advisory board as an internal staff relations and organizational development specialist.





Dr. Deborah Winter is a psychologist and retired professor from Whitman College. She has written numerous books on environmental sustainability and peace psychology. Dr. Winter serves on the advisory board as an academic advisor and curriculum specialist.
