Description: Each week you can expect 7-10 items including fresh seasonal greens, veggies, fruits, herbs, and tropical starches along with occasional hand-crafted tinctures and dried spices. A jar of HIP’s homegrown honey once a month is also included.

Hawaii Food Basket's DA BOX in Hawi

Description: Hawaii Food Basket's “DA BOX” is a community supported agriculture (CSA) program. Hawai`i Food Basket purchases Hawai`i Island grown produce from our local farmers and resells to customers island-wide. Each week of produce consists of a minimum of seven items, generally one to two fruits and five to six vegetables.

Pick up is at Kohala Food Hub on Wednesday's between 12:30-5pm

Kupuna Care Boxes

Description: You can expect a variety of fruits, vegetables, and cooking greens in your weekly package (6 - 10 items per week). We will include some helpful tips and recipes as well as a survey card to let us know which items you loved and your preferences.

Available for delivery or pick up at Kohala Food Hub on Wednesdays between 12:30-5pm

Price: Care boxes are $20 and we will do a sliding scale fee for elders in need.

What is a CSA?

Some call it a Weekly Veggie Box or a Farmshare. We call it a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) It's all the same idea. You pay at the beginning of the season for a share of that season's harvest. Every week you receive a box full of all the freshest produce directly from our farm.
