We are truly honored this year to partner with Chef Allen Hess of Waimea's FORC Restaurant. Chef Allen is a celebrated culinary legend of the Big Island of Hawai'i. He expresses his passion for his home and the 'āina through an emphasis on regional flavors, paying ode to the farmers, ranchers and ocean-harvesters of the island. "FORC" stands for Farmer, Ocean, Rancher, Cook... which is exactly who will bring you the food on your plate. This is true, local farm-to-table cuisine.
Join us for an elegant evening to support the nutrition and wellbeing of our youth through local agriculture. This fundraising event will directly support HIP Agriculture 501(c)(3) nonprofit in facilitating educational programs for youth through our Farm-to-School initiatives, as well as development of infrastructure to boost community agriculture processing and farmer training. We are excited to share our vision of continued improvement of local food access for Hawai'i with you all, through this inspiring event.
